haha i luv mondays! lol this makes me the opposite of garfield right? but really, mondays are such super fun slack days! (: yayy.
like today, we spent almost 2 hours slacking away (: one hour during career guidance, and the other during chinese. [haha cos lao shi forgot to come] heehee.
okay. during career guidance, joyce and zhiwei and i were playing hangman! (: haha which ended up being quite ridiculous. things like "urnie"! haha. which was represented by ernie sitting in a pot over a fire. haha and zhiwei was like, "which person still smiles when he's being burnt to death?" haha. urnie! omg. i feel so tickled. yeah apparently i laughed till my face went red.
haha and then there was harry potter being represented by a tuft of hair and a pot. o.0 haha. joyce is super funny! (x and so was zhiwei, who seriously enlightened me about people with objects stuck up their noses! hahaha.
lol sometimes i feel very sorry for the career guidance teacher, cos no one really listens to him. heh but it is quite boring. :/ haha.
then during chinese, we were playing pictionary! hahaha. it was uber fun! (: whee.
and so we spent 2 hours just slacking away. :/ but anyway, we didn't have much to do. (:
gahh. tomorrow is tuesday. which means... exposition test! sigh. i hate english. ): and, i totally hate writing stupid pointless essays. :/ like, seriously. bahh. hopefully, i'll be able to write a decent essay tomorrow. sigh.
looking on the bright side, this will be the last essay we'll be writing for the year! (: *beams* the next summative assessment for english will be compre! [which i like sufficiently more than writing expositions.]
heh i just realised that keeping a blog is part of pop culture too! hahaha. yes. so i'm immersed in it. [yeah so what's the big deal] okay i'm being extremely cynical tonight. it must be monday night blues. (: haha. and i realised that i should make better use of my blog by posting cheemer and more intellectual stuff, rather than using it for boliao purposes like updates on my life. ahaha but who cares anyway.
before i even post cheem and intellectual stuff[about my views on issues, for example] i'd probably abandon the blog first. haha makes sense? okay don't think so. nvm
omg. the more i look at this post, the more incoherent i think it is. haha. it's like i can't think straight or something.

yayy i'm so happy that orals are over! wheee! (: haha it went quite alright. (: haha i guess i could have done better for the Q and A part. lolz i was hardly thinking when i answered the questions, but at least my answers sounded reasonable. (: *beams* omg and then the teacher asked me this really silly question about push-up bras! cos my topic was on the portrayal of beauty by the media, so my speech was about unnatural beauty and all that. so he asked me if i thought the push-up bra was bad. like, omg. so i just said it was bad, cos it was like cheating. haha omg i am pro right. (:
hee and i'm very relieved that i was loud enough (: yayy. haha my group was very encouraging. we clapped loudly before and after everyone's turn okay. (: haha. ohh and vionna was super funny. she was like "just think of us okay. then you'll have my cuteness and sharon's eloquence and margie's height. " hahaha omg so funny right? (x
yayy i'm very happy. no more oral! except for german oral, but i'm not really worried cos it sounds quite fun. haha basically you just have to hold a convo with the teacher in german. (: haha. and we have fun themes too. like pocket money and food and travelling and housing and whatnot. (: haha. sounds fun right? (x you get to talk about whatever crap related to these topics. haha (:
expo test next! *whines* i hate english. ): haha i'd actually rather write a qingjingzuowen than an english expository essay. funny huh.
sigh. i'm going to sleep now. i feel accomplished haha. i did a very pretty diagram of the tower of hanoi! on the computer okay! (: haha. it is proportionate and perfectly aligned. (: yayy!

whee yesterday was the crappy a strand talk. haha. we were sitting with xinty, who proved to be just as entertaining as ever haha. (: which reminds me so much of last year. haha, yes, exactly one year ago... the rainbow connection times haha. (: yayy. i miss all of you! haha.
like i remember how i choked on water last year, because of *ahem* a certain caricature by xinty. haha. yeah and our installation art thing was super funny. haha. (: and i suppose my griping about smelly helmets was memorable too. haha. and joyce and longlong and the vacuum cleaner
omg i'm such a nostalgic person. but imagine that, almost one whole year has passed ever since the rainbow connection came into existence. ahhh.

whee speech day is over already! haha. we spent like hours up in the gallery just slacking and stoning and making a lot of noise. haha but we did play too okay, just that we didn't really sound very good. yeah really.
haha like everytime we went toilet, we'd take really really long to come back, and we'd walk very slowly too, cos it was super boring up in the gallery. :/ heh.
lol deborah is sooo funny! haha. her "mouth" thingy is very amusing. haha ohh and then i saw ms kum so i commented "eh! i see ms kum!" then she was like "who?" so i said, "ms sandi kum!" haha and guess what dear debbie said omg. haha she was like "ms fandika? who's that?" lol. miffie and i were dying of laughter. [hmm but apparently yanting heard the same thing as deborah... dunno why.] HAHA. damn cute.
ohh and cheow ying is so sweeet! cos mrs chua was telling us to smile when we were playing. then cheowying said that i don't have to smile, cos sunshine is written all over my face! so sweet right? omg. (: haha but most sec 1s are quite sweet anyway.
haha but sitting in the gallery is quite fun too. (: cos you get a nice view of everyone downstairs. (: *beams* but so sad.. i couldn't see any of my friends from where i was seated. :/ haha i was sitting in a very inconvenient position, with the stupid synthesizer in front. and the microphone was hanging right over my head. and then, there were people who kept taking photographs. yeah. i can't stand flash photography. the flash kept ending up in my face. everytime they took a picture, i'd see the bright flash and then after that i'd see stars for about 5 seconds. :/
then the food was kinda okay. haha. deborah said that i was "highly encouraged" to eat the jelly. [which tasted pretty normal anyway] ohh but i like the cake! hee. piggy me.
ohh we took our height and weight and fat mass yesterday! haha. i grew 1 cm! so i'm now 161 cm! yayy! and i put on 1 kg too! haha. my fat mass is 18.8% (:
guess what? today is saturday. tomorrow is the start of a new week already. it's going to be week 9! which means that i have chinese pt presentation [argh!] and english orals! sigh. i don't want next week to come. ): boo. i hate doing presentations or speaking to an audience. it is irritating *whines*

english pt! ahhh so siann. :/
today is a very siann day. :/ haha except for career guidance. haha. it totally rocks! we get to do our own stuff, and he doesn't really care. (: hee. like joyce and i were playing non stop. [well so was everyone else]
haha. cos joyce says that people can feel it when they are being stared at. haha so we tried staring at various people, and came up with a conclusion about which of them were thick skinned and which were thin skinned! haha! then zeggy joined in the staring thing for a while. haha then we started doing stupid things with zigs and marker ink and dunno what. haha like sharon did the hand thing on me haha. then i ended up with this streak across my hand. :p lol. then there was joyce and her claim that green ink reacts with paper to give out heat. omg haha.
sigh we got physics pt already! booo. :/

whee i'm back from hong kong! (: haha yayy. reached home at almost 1 am in the morning. >< haha it was fun! (: and the weather was great, although one part was flooded due to heavy rain, but we weren't in that part during the flood so it was okay. (: lol we were thoroughly freaked out, cos the news kept reported about typhoons in taiwan or taipei or whatever. heh.
okay anyway.
on the first day, we were delayed for quite a while at the airport because the stupid person in charge was highly inefficient and kept us waiting for ages. :/ so by the time we reached the hotel, we were super hungry. luckily our hotel was strategically located in a large shopping area with loads of food and shops! yayy! haha so we went to eat wanton mee at the famous wanton mee shop. then we went for dessert at hui lau shan. it's this place where all the desserts are concocted from fruits! (:
then we went to snoopy's world! it was oh-so-cute! haha. there were snoopy figurines all over the park, and there was woodstock and the rest of the peanuts gang too! (: haha and the whole place was so totally colourful! haha it was really really cute! (:
then at night we went to ladies' street to shop! haha. it's this gigantic night market. lol. then we got lost on the way back. haha. the streets there are totally confusing. i think it's probably cos the buildings were too close together, and all the buildings looked the same. somehow the streets in that area looked very ratty. yeah. and the aircon condensers kept on dripping water, so as you walked along the streets, you'd probably get quite wet.
second day, we went to lantau island to see the big buddha. omg it took us such a long time to get there. cos it was on another island, and then as if it weren't bad enough, it was on top of a hill! yeah so we took a taxi and the taxi went round and round up the winding road. haha as usual i felt like puking. haha. but it was quite cool. we went to see poh lin monastery too.
then we took the disney train to hong kong disneyland! haha the train is super cute. the windows were in the shape of mickey heads. (: and the handrails were mickey shaped too! and there were little glass cases of disney characters all over the train! haha. and disney station was really cool too. it was really disney-like. hee. disneyland itself was cool too. haha the fountain rocked!
then after that we went to causeway bay for dim sum lunch. i luv dim sum! haha. and then after lunch we went shopping! [again] haha. shopping is so fun! haha i felt like a shopping queen for this trip. lol. i bought soooo many things omg.
then we went to bauhinia square. it's this really nice historic square. something to do with the return of hk to china. or something like that. (: but it was really quite far from the mtr station, so we had to walk a long distance! omg. after that my legs hurt like shit. haha. [now it still hurts. lol. must have beem aggravated by hours of shopping on end]
after bauhinia square, we went to victoria peak! omg that rocked. it was really high up, and everything was misty cos it was evening already. ohh yeah we took the peak tram up. and there was this really cool shopping mall at the peak (: hee.
then at night, we went street shopping again. haha.
third day: we went to tsim sha tsui. and then we went to the avenue of stars. haha. the air there was super fresh [contrast to the heavily polluted air in the rest of hk] and the view was really nice too, cos the avenue was like this promenade along the waterfront. and along the avenue, there were many handprints made by hk celebrities. haha.
then after that it was shopping time all the way till lunch, which was dim sum again. (: *beams* it was the famous dim sum restaurant okay. (: haha. the food rocked.
then after that it was departure time already. haha.
oh i forgot to mention that i watched over the hedge and the shaggy dog on board the plane! haha yayy. so productive right.

haha i'm amusing myself greatly by watching my dad watch korean movies. haha. he is now
addicted! which is highly amusing, because he used to scoff at my mom and i for watching stupid sappy movies. haha! *grins happily* ever since my parents went to watch some now and forever thing, my dad has been taking a huge interest in korean movies. hahaha omg. (x

omg i haven't blogged for so long already! :/ sigh i've been really busy with so many pts and whatnot. let's see, there's chinese pt. ss pt, eng pt, german pt. and physics and chem pts are coming up! goodness. heh i luv my german pt book! it's called "the little ghost" and it's really really cute! it's about a curious little ghost that wanted to see the world during the day, so it tried ways and means to do so. and finally when it saw the world during the day time, it turned black cos of the sun rays! omg haha. and so on. very cute story! (: heh.
hmm let's see what else shall i blog about.
ahh yes. speech day tech rehearsal yesterday. it was ohh so boring and fun at the same time haha. boring cos they made us keep on playing and playing, which got quite irritating. haha but then when we weren't playing, we were talking. which was fun. haha
